Shawty

This “model” is less of a model and more of a way to achieve and seek progressive surfing through the means of asymmetric outlines and fin clusters. These boards can be tailored to small or big surf, and range on a scale from incognito (clear, thruster-esque, subtle asymmetry) to funky (resin tints, snub noses, unconventional bottom contours and channels, exaggerated asymmetry etc). The twuad / 1+2 fin setup (heavily popularized by Ekstrom, Burch, et. al) achieves more vertical and aggressive lines than a conventional upright twin, but still maintains the efficient straightline speed and rail to rail sensations that are beloved by twin fin enthusiasts. I personally tend to favor these boards in good waves and use them in place of a high performance thruster shorty.
